Is House dying?

I don’t want to overhype Tuesday’s episode of House, but frankly, the latest spoiler I just received from FOX has me a little concerned. Spoiler phobes, stop reading now and just watch the show on Tuesday. Everyone else, continue at your own risk.

House has contacted a brain cancer specialist in order to be included in a clinical trial, and not as a doctor, according to the press release. He’s apparently the patient. (Gulp.)

I know. I know. This is a “Meredith Grey situation” if I’ve ever heard of one. The show bears his moniker; hence, he can’t die. So, I’m not sure if this is just a misleading promo or a real struggle he’ll have to pursue, but, boy, what a twist.

If that isn’t enough to get you to tune in, musician Dave Matthews is guest starring as a 35-year-old musical savant who suddenly suffers involuntary muscle contractions in his left hand. House, and his team of course, come to the rescue to try and solve the problem. But will the solution sacrifice the musician’s career?

House airs at 9 p.m. E.S.T Tuesday on FOX.
