Apparently, Clark Kent has a cousin, and she’s coming to Smallville this season, according to scoop diva Kristin Veitch at E!Online.

Comic book fans are no strangers to Supergirl, but fans that only know Clark Kent through television and movies, may be in for a shock. Supergirl, aka Kara, has all of Clark’s abilities, and one that he doesn’t yet. Yep, she’s faster than the red eye when it comes to flying.

The real kicker here is that Kara is slated to be a love interest for — wait for it — Jimmy Olsen. So, what does that mean for Jimmy's current squeeze, my beloved Chloe?

Were Chloe’s green tears fatal in the finale? Nah, I don’t believe it for a minute. A more likely scenario is that Chloe and Jimmy break up, or that Kara becomes the third leg of a brewing love triangle.

Of course, the Smallville writers could come to their senses and have Clark and Chloe try dating again. We all know that Chloe has been his “super” girl all along.
