Jennie Garth signs on for 90210 spinoff

Kelly Taylor is going home.

Actress Jennie Garth has signed on to reprise her role as Kelly Taylor in the upcoming Beverly Hills 90210 spinoff on the CW, according to TV Guide.

In the new version, Kelly Taylor is apparently still living in Beverly Hills and is working as a guidance counselor at her old high school. I wonder if Steve Sanders will be the gym teacher?

Garth is reportedly only signed on as a recurring cast member, rather than a regular cast member.

I’m hoping we’ll get to see some of the other West Beverly alumni, too. And by “other” I mean Dylan McKay.
