Scott Baio to be a daddy

Scott Baio, who was a beloved ‘80s pop-culture idol from his years on Happy Days and Charles in Charge, is about to become a daddy.

In the season finale of Scott Baio is 45… and Single, Baio’s girlfriend dropped the bombshell that she’s pregnant, immediately after Baio popped the marriage question.

Those of you who’ve been watching Baio and his life coach deal with his relationship baggage are probably worried. I am, too. Baio has whined his way through weeks of “therapy” and picking out an engagement ring, so I can only imagine how he’ll deal with dirty diapers.

I smell a sequel in the making: Scott Baio is 45 ...and Facing Fatherhood or Scott Baio is 45 ... and Engaged. I’m sure Baio and his entourage are going to milk this baby thing for all it’s worth. (Pun intended.)

Seriously, though, congratulations to Baio and his fiancée Renee on their upcoming new addition.
