Doctor, Doctor, give me the news. I’ve got a bad case of issues. Three episodes in to NightShift, and I have concluded one thing: everyone has problems. Whether it be personal or psychological, the good docs and company need some help. Let’s see if I can help by bringing these troubles to light.
Patient #1 is Jason ‘Stone Cold’ Morgan. It seems like he has a bad case of not knowing what he wants. I was so hoping the whole Elizabeth/baby Jake storyline wasn’t going to be carried over to NightShift. Jason longed to be with his son, and he finally got a chance to spend some time with him, only to accept the fact that Jake had to leave him once again. I am waiting patiently until Jason finally wakes up and lets the world know he’s Jake’s father. If he wants to be with Elizabeth and his kid, then spit it out already. I miss the old Jason ‘guns blazing’ Morgan!
Patient #2 is Dr. McHottie, Patrick Drake. He’s got some parental problems to clear up. Side effects may include hearing invisible people singing. What’s up with that? It sounds like Touissant the janitor singing, but I don’t get why Patrick is the only one who hears him. I still love you Patrick. Even if you think you’re going a little nutty!
Patients #3 and #4 are Dr. Lee and the new cutie doc on the block Dr. Archer. Obviously, Dr. Archer has some self-esteem issues. I don’t get why, but he does. Through the whole episode I was trying to figure out where I’ve seen the actor who plays Archer. He looks really familiar. I hate it when that happens. I’m stumped when it comes to Dr. Lee. There’s obviously more going on with her then she lets anyone know. Guess we have to stay tuned for that reveal.
Although we still don’t know what exactly happened during that ambulance explosion, I can tell you something weird is going on in that hospital. What’s with the mysterious person creeping into people’s rooms? It’s probably Pink Nurse #1 Leila! I knew I didn’t like her! I still haven’t figured out if the bandaged woman is Brenda, but it’s definitely someone who knew Jason.
Well, I don’t need a doctor to tell me that I’m hooked on this show. I can’t wait until more is revealed. Hopefully tonight we will get some answers and maybe some resolutions.
