Bones renewed and Tom Cavanagh news

David Boreanaz will still be diggin’ up bones next fall. FOX officially renewed the freshman crime drama Bones for another season.

Yay! That means Dr. Brennan aka “Bones” will get plenty more chances to utter her trademark phrase “I don’t know what that means,” while Booth litters the conversation with pop-culture references. Buffy would be so proud. (Yeah, “Bones” so wouldn’t get that last line.)

Love Monkey is barely dead, yet Tom Cavanagh has already signed on for a new CBS comedy pilot called My Ex Life, according to Zap2it. I guess it goes to show you can’t keep a good man down. Go Tom! Cavanagh will play Nick, a divorcee who shares custody of his children with his ex. Any chance that ex is named Carol Vessey?
