Commentary with a Co-Ed: Big Brother- America's Player

by Ashley Gouveia

I think this is the first time since I started watching Big Brother that I’m not on a specific side of the house. When the show began, I was crushin’ on Mike. But now he’s gone because he made a dumb move that got him evicted. I liked Dick for his outspoken nature, but now I think he needs to cool his jets. My favorite player was Eric, aka America’s Player, but even he has been getting on my nerves.

I probably shouldn’t get too attached anyway since ‘Eyebrow Eric’ may get the boot tonight. I would much rather have had Kail or Jen get shown the door but wait, shouldn’t they have been evicted weeks ago? Uh, yeah! What were they thinking? I have a feeling that those two are going to slide right on to the end just like Dr. Will and Mike “Boogie” did last season. It was all because they didn’t get rid of them in the beginning. Kaysar, I love you, but that was partially your fault, babe.

What’s up with those banners that keep going over the house? They pretty much revealed to the housemates that Eric was hiding something. It seems to me like America is turning on its own player. I kind of feel bad for the guy. He may be obnoxious at times, but the guy is working his butt off to do what America wants him to. He’s trying to convince Jessica and the rest of the LnC that he’s not a liar or a threat. Well, if you’re obsessed like me and watch the live feeds you know he’s not going to be winning any popularity contests with Dick and Daniele.

As far as the LnC being the new ‘Nerd Herd’ for season eight. Come on! They are not half as bad as the ‘Nerd Herd’ from season six. Okay, maybe Amber is. How can she be crying hysterically about Nick being evicted if she was the one who brought up the idea in the first place? All that girl does is bawl and for no apparent reason. Maybe that’s her strategy: to cry everyone out of the house. Is it going to work? Gosh, I really hope not.

It wasn’t a shocker on Tuesday night that Jen used the POV on herself after she won it. Therefore, securing Eric’s seat on the block. He knew the plan was to backdoor him, so he has to campaign in order for him to stay. My vote is on Kail to leave. But it would be pretty amusing to see everyone’s faces when they find out that Eric’s been playing for us all this time. I guess we’ll see tonight if America’s Player can stick it out for another week.

I know what you are saying. I can't choose any side at this point. Totally loved Mike!

With ya'll. but, 4 some reason, I am so drawn to the whole scene. I thought they couldn't top last year, and, not saying they are, but this has got me glued just as much as last year. Thank God 4 Tvo! What blows my mind the most are these seemingly idiot moves by America! They are almost working out beautifully except for the fact that no one trusts Eric. The choices seem like America is trying to get Eric voted off, if so, it seems to be back firing!!! Go Eric.
