Scott Baio turns to reality TV to find love

Chachi has a problem.

Apparently, dating some of Hollywood’s most beautiful women has taken a toll on former-Happy-Days-star Scott Baio. The problem: He’s middle aged and single, and still unable to commit to a meaningful relationship.

How does he deal with a mid-life crisis, when his former list of girlfriends includes Heather Locklear, Pam Anderson, Denise Richards and Nicolette Sheridan? Well, let’s just say he isn’t buying a sports car.

He’s turning to a new VH1 reality show called 45 and Single that will document his eight-week adventure with a life coach, who helps Baio get to the bottom of his relationship issues. During the course of his “treatment,” he’ll confront and reconnect with several of his old flames.

His “treatment” also includes the one thing Fonzie would never approve of: abstinence. Baio tries to sort through his sordid past and discover why he’s never been the settling down type.

As much as I hate reality television, I may have to watch this crazy show. Can you imagine Baio reconnecting with Locklear or Richards or Anderson? Or even his former costar Erin Moran?

I used to have a raging crush on Chachi and later Charles in Charge. So, I certainly understand why the ladies love him. Who could resist that cute smile, that ever-present crucifix necklace, and even that ridiculous bandana he wore tied around his leg. Ah, the ‘80s!

Scott Baio is 45 and Single premieres this Sunday ,July 15, at 10:30 p.m. ET on VH1.

OMG, Tube Talk Girl, is this for real? How low has he sunk, that he'd do this. I pity his exes if they get dragged into this trainwreck.

I thought he was getting work. I enjoyed him on Arrested Development, so I'm not sure why he's hitting the reality show circuit.

I don't usually get into reality TV, but this I gotta see.

I've been wearing a bandana around my leg since I first saw the promo for this about a week ago.

Hmm...Pamela Anderson, Denise Richards, Erin Moran...one of these kids is not like the other, one of these kids just doesn't belong...

LMAO! Stop it, Tim.

I think "Joanie" is the first gal he "confronts."

I don't watch any reality TV, but this I have to see. Too bad he's not as hot as he thinks he is.

When are we going to see a John Stamos version of this show?

Meow.

Yes, John Stamos! That would be TV ratings gold!
